Die degenerative zervikale Myelopathie (DCM) ist die häufigste nicht-traumatische Erkrankung des Rückenmarks. Dies macht sie zu einer hochrelevanten und potentiell behindernden Erkrankung in einer älter werdenden Gesellschaft. In dieser interdisziplinären Fortbildungsveranstaltung von Fachärztinnen und Fachärzten der Neurologie, Radiologie, Rheumatologie und Wirbelsäulenchirurgie werden Grundlagen in der Diagnose und Behandlung für alle Disziplinen vermittelt.

We warmly welcome interested otorhinolaryngology and neurosurgery colleagues! The „Rhino-Neuro-Otological Introductory Skull Base Course“ in Basel (Switzerland) aims for an interdisciplinary exchange and hands-on program with great support from our industry partners along with local and international faculty. There will be a 2:1 participant to anatomical specimen ratio. The course is limited to 14 participants (7 ENTs, 7 neurosurgeons) with a strong emphasis on close mentoring.

This course format delivers basic skills in spinal microsurgery to a group of 12 attendees. The target group are residents or junior consultants with a special interest in microsurgery (spine surgery, hand surgery, plastic surgery). The course deploys largely non-animal models. A demo station with surgical microscope and HD video transmission as well as 12 participant workstations with table microscopes are provided.

This course covers the current best strategies and considerations for managing neurotrauma patients and is based on competencies defined in Global Neuro’s curriculum. It is organized by Global Neuro as a practical course for residents with interest in neurotrauma, focussing on cranial and spinal trauma. The content is delivered using multiple methods: Comprehensive lectures, interactive case presentations and practical sessions.

Two day courses about spinal neuromodulation 16-17 may 2025 in Lausanne Switzerland. All day to day aspects for a better spinal cord neuromodulation practice are covered. Target audience for this two day course are pain physicians, anaesthetists and neurosurgeons. 20 participants max. Workshops about patient education, evaluation, surgical skills. Cadaver workshop and live model in the operating room.
